Melodys first time at Famous Daves.

We went out to dinner while Rick and the two boys were gone to Arizona. I am very starving at this point. But I will fill up in five bites.

Sun city

This is the only pool of four that kids are allowed in. And they have limited hours. And there was some old grouchy people in the pool. I don't think they like kids. Well just maybe not my crazy ones at least.

Seatac

Waiting for our flight to Phoenix to see grandpa and grandma Greene. Last I looked it was supposed to be 93 degrees today. Good thing we are being loggers for Halloween. Nothing like thick flannel and warm weather. I wanted to be European beach goers and where speedos. Should have stuck with my gut feeling on that one.

Boys make up bowling

They are both in the BREMERTON lanes yaba league. Asher has done it for two seasons now. This is masons first. Since they are going to Arizona on their regular day of league they have to do it before they go. Its very fun to watch them.

Bachmann park

Waited here for the boys to be done with soccer at the YMCA. Such beauty we have here in BREMERTON.

Would you use the bathroom with him?

This was in the bathroom at Pzazz in SILVERDALE. Funny thing is he said he was glad I made it and he breathed very heavily. Creepy.

Red lobster

We had a little date. If you can call it a date. Either way we hung out and did a little shopping. I got a sweet flannel for my Halloween costume. And maybe for my next trip to forks.

Rick's 33rd birthday cake

He had a good sense of humor when I married him. Don't worry. He still does.

Mormon octoberfest

A rootbeer identifying contest.
update:  Sabrina won the rootbeer id contest with a 2 out of 6 score.  Her score was 50% higher than the next competitor.  We also experienced at least 5 different kinds of sausage.  There were supposed to be cheese filled but Elias ate them all or it all melted out.  Since Elias is too small to reach the grill it probably melted out.  There was also some Karoke.  I hold my view that karoke is probably more fun drunk.  None of us were drunk but it was still fun.  Overall a good dinner.  Kind of fun to have a themed dinner.  I need a better camera phone.

Today we went to Pheasant Field Farms in Silverdale.  We took their farm tour and ended up with a chance to pick a pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch.  This was organized by Kristin as part of the weekly play group.  It was fun and the kids loved it.  As is usual for our adventures the  trip was well documented with plenty of photographs.  Click here for slideshow

Moms foot surgery

Mom recovering from her foot surgery. We were at the Dr's clinic in silverdale. She passed out before the surgery when they tried to start her IV other than that things went well. She had her little toe turned and some bone spurs taken off.
She did not consent to this picture.

Photo from Benihana in Seattle.  Ivy went their with (From Left to Right) Greg, Jana's mom(sorry don't know her name), Bree, Jana, Melody, Ivy.  They had a great time and went and saw Phantom of the Opera at the Paramount after dinner.  Hopefully Ivy had her eyes open during the Phantom.   It was actually a couple of weeks ago but it's been our screensaver for awhile so I thought would put it up on blog.

Ivy and percocet

Update

So no pictures today.  Ivy is still laying on couch.  She feels fine when she is laying down.  Not so good when standing up.  I also somehow feel better when laying on couch.  I guess tomorrow she is going to ER to see if she can talk them into a blood patch.  That's our life.  Ivy running the house from the couch.

Back again

Back to the ER.  It seems that Ivy has developed a spinal headache from the Lumbar Puncture.  We are awaiting the arrival of some caffeine that they will give intra veneously to get rid of her headache.  They did give her something for nauseau that made her sleepy.

Late night at Harrison Medical Center ER

Ivy had a horrible headache that came on suddenly so we went to er. She is awaiting her CT and lumbar puncture.
Update:  Everything came out fine.   All tests came back negative.  She will live and Asher's initial diagnosis of "brain tumors, lots of brain tumors" was fortunately incorrect.   Though his calm assessment that there was an emergency in the bathroom was correct.  Since Ivy was laying on the floor holding her head and moaning.  Watching the boys be concerned for their mom but simutaneously not sure what to do since she was naked was funny.  Might have been funnier under different circumstances but still funny.  The ER did a good job and Ivy got to join the exclusive dilaudid club.

Old photos of the Hansen girls
