.....Of Silverwood 2009. We say "until we meet again in 2010". I even was a brave lass and did 2 roller coasters. Rick's laughter and hollering helped me thru them. And Jonal sure knows how to blow the roof off with her screams. If the sky had a roof. The kids had tons o' fun in the sun. First day started off with some rain. But you wouldn't have known that today. The whole thing was awesome. If you have not been there you need to! Ivy

Silverwood

Ok this isn't actually silverwood. We were too busy having fun and didn't take an pictures. This boys in hotel after hard day. Going back tomorrow maybe get some better pictures.

Another stop on our road trip 2 summer

We are on our way to Silverwood. Hewlens are behind us a ways. Jana and her family will be meeting up with us there. I have seen this Woody's for years as I grew up in this area when I lived in Ephrata. Now we get to try it! Ivy

www.woot.com is a website that has a daily special. Every night at 10pm a new deal pops up. From random brown bags of unknown stuff to 60 inch plasmas. Plus everything in between. And usually $5 shipping. They also have a daily shirt. The shirts are from artists and are sometimes the winner of a weekly contest. Now that they have kids sizes we by lots more. I'm just not hip enough to pull most of these off. I think at last count we have bought 33. Did I mention they are only $10.

"The Cove" on the Quinalt reservation

Fw: Bob's Burgers

This was the Ranch Burger I ordered. It has an egg in there with 3 thick strips of bacon. And man, was I giving it my best attempt. The onion rings were super crispy. And Rick ordered the fish and chips. I believe the fish was big enough to fill the Pacific Ocean!

Today was our 10th anniversary. We had a nice dinner at Gino's in Port Orchard. Tomorrow we are going to Seattle for a couple of days.

Park day at Silverdale Water Front

Me and my three boys are having some park time. This is one of my favorite parks in the area. Cooper is old enough to enjoy it now too. Its such a nice day today. Why waste it? Ivy

As you may not know Ivy likes to wrestle. Or pick fights. Problem is she is good at it and I have myself been pinned by her while she taunts me. Sort of humilating in a fun way but that's Ivy. She also offers the same fun to her sisters. This is her and Leah wrestling. I have also seen her take down her sister Melody. I would like to see a April vs Ivy fight. Since April is a cop maybe she could put Ivy in her place for us. I censored it to protect the children. Pictures was taken in July at pacific beach but not much was going on and I thought it was a funny picture so I thought I should put it up.

Camping trip

While we were camping a dog sled team was staying there and brought out the dogs to run around.

Its his first practice with all his stuff on. No complaints so far. He tries his heart out.

Mckean's drive in

We ate here. Honestly after finding that our original choice was closed. But it turned out to be a win. Rick and I had their bacon deluxe burgers. The cherry of the whole thing is they butter THEN grill the buns. Thus providing a nice crispy texture and a barrier to a non soggy bun. Ingenious!! Yummy shakes to boot. Its in Cle Elum, Wa.

Camping

Me and rick cooking our dinner. Just got back from swimming at the lake. Ok I watched but the boys swam lots. Earlier I ran and the kids followed on their bikes on a trail that went to other side of lake. Rick hung out with Cooper at the fishing bridge. A good day. Before bed we will have warm brownies and ice cream. Gotta love trailer camping. Thanks mom and dad for letting us use it.

Lunch time!

Rick found this place via my blackberry while we were camping at Lake Easton. It had 3 booths and 5 tables. Oh, and a bar. Can't forget that. We topped it off with some yum-o apple pie ala' mode.

We are camping at lake easton state park. This the first night. That's the lake in the back. We got a pretty good spot. Now if only it wasn't 60 degrees. Oh well. Still having fun.
