Return trip home from spokane

This is the columbian river we drove by. The whole trip with the Schmidt family was great. Silverwood was worth the time and effort to get there. And hanging out with Jana and Greg's family was fun.

I took the kids to the water fountains by the BREMERTON ferries. Bri was visiting is for a few days. The boys had fun with her.

Me and Elise on the mom and daughter day camp out. It was on a friends property. Theresa was there too. I pray it doesn't rain.

Hew lens

We had the hew lens over for dinner. Had hawaiin hay stacks. I don't think they are really from Hawaii but they are delicious. We were going to watch drillbit Taylor but got sucked into some science special about superhuman abilities. The guy who can live in a fridge for an hour and the lady who sees sounds as color. Very interesting. They also had a blind painter seems like I could probably do that actually I just watched the part about him nevermind I couldn't do that.

9th anniversary at Ruths Chris

Ninth anniversary dinner with the Thomas's. We have the same day wedding. We are at Ruths Chris steak house. Actually not only do we have the same wedding day we were married hours apart at the seattle temple. They were after us which is why are relationship is so much more mature. We had a great time. It was some good food and good company. A good night all around.

We went bowling today with ashlie, jayson, and shayne. Their parents were in a league before. And Asher and mason will be this September.

the adventures of Asher and mason

Asher and Mason just got back from spending a week with Jerel and Mandy. As usual they had a fun time. It looks like they had all kinds of adventures. I think they may have even gotten out of their chores for the entire week. I'm looking forward to having them back. they are going to Aunt Jana's in seattle later today. I'm sure they'll have more fun there. Probably can't fit much more fun in a week.

We stopped here on the way to meet up with Mandy. Its only a drive through. Totaly cute!

Me (Ivy) and my family went to this performance on the waterfront by the ferries. It was a group from Portland, Oregon. The first of four concerts that are free of charge for anyone who comes. It was an awesome performance. I will get Rick to help set up an album so you can see the other pictures taken there.

Recently started scanning some of my grandparents old photos. Plan on going to Arizon to scan the rest of the albums and to visit in October. I'll get the captions up soon. This album that grandma gave me seems to be photos taken from several other albums. Slideshow

Galaxy VIP theater

This is galaxy theater in gig harbor. Its VIP viewing. I wasn't sure what VIP theater meant other than it cost and additional $2. We tried to call but you can't actually get a live person at a movie theater. This theater had a concierge desk. I'm not sure what she was supposed to do. She did sell us our tickets but I don't think that should qualify as a concierge service since a non-manned kiosk can perform the same task. The theater was very nice. Nicer than the one in Pouslbo. I think the only difference in the VIP theater is you can order and drink alcohol in the theater. The guys next to us were drinking wine. You have to be tough to not follow the empty seat between guys rule and be drinking wine at a movie. We saw Dark Knight. The first time we went was at the drive-in for the midnight showing. I slept through half of it. It was better when viewed in it's entirety.
