Christmas break

Ivy did her crossfit workout Christmas morning and has a migraine ever since. She did a good job pushing through it and keeping the house going but it finally got to her. This is how she spent the day. she is seeing the Dr tomorrow so hopefully they'll be able to help her out.

Ivy and the boys went to visit her sister in Utah. Her dad and other sister Claire were in Utah while she was there. They went to temple square and took a few pictures. It was supposed to be a 4 day trip but kept getting extended until it ended up being about a week. Click here for a few more pictures.

These are a childhood favorite!

I found these in West Valley, Utah. I use to have them plenty of times as a kid in Richfield, Utah growing up around my 5th grade year. I had to get it. It should be interesting to see if I enjoy it just as much. I ate them cold. So all I need to do is leave it in the car here. It is snowing outside and the snow is piled nicely all around. Ivy

Thanksgiving out

So this thanksgiving mom and I were talking about what we should to for dinner. I figured we would all squish into our place and have a good time. Hang out and watch some football. She suggested we go out. Then thinking no one would want to eat out I said well lets put it to a vote and see what everyone wants to do. I lost 1-17 for eating out. What? So we ate at the clearwater casino. I will admit that we don't usually have crab legs for dinner. Some of the sides were not as good as we usually have. No loaded mash potatoes or Richard's mom's cornbread stuffing. In protest I'm thinking of hosting my own Thanksgiving dinner at our place next week. Was a good time though. In the evening we went and watched area 51 with Tab, Elise, Daniel, Micheal, my family and Dad. Then some of them went from the movie to wait in line for Black friday deals. I can't figure out why I don't have a picture of it but while we were getting ready Mason had a yogurt and decided to suction it to his face.  He immediately developed a large bruise all around his lips.  He looked ridiculous.  I was worried he would be embarrassed but he actually seemed quite proud of it.  Said it looked like he needed to shave.

This is at Mason's football banquet. D string. They made it to the finals this year. Guy with brown shirt is head coach Cy. Ivy and Colleen on right were the team moms. Cy took the time to individually talk about each of the boys and give them there trophy. Took awhile but you could tell he cared about the boys. Click here for a few more pictures. Cooper was a proud supporter of the Army. Had to clarify with Asher that I was Navy and not Marines. Clear difference there.

On to the finals. They won 31-0. Same score as the last game. Hopefully the score of the next game. Was cold but didn't rain too hard. Sounds like it will be worse on Saturday for the last game. Ivy's new blog

For those that don't know Ivy has been working out at the Bremerton crossift gym. They like you to have a indivudual blog to record your workouts and they link them together with the other people at the gym.  Today I helped her make her blog.  I even came up with the name.  Ivy's gun show you can follow her workouts their.  Though I don't know what half the stuff means.  heres some links that have videos of the types of workouts she does.  A little crazy. click here and scroll down for videos. video below is a basic description of what crossfit it.

So from Tab and Richard I got an extendable ice scraper. A nod to either my shortness or the fact that the suburban is tall. Mandy made me a cool hat. Though without the ear flaps that Josh's had. Tab and Richard also got me the gloves as specified. Bring on the ice and snow.

Asher and Mason did it another round. This time I had them divide and conquer. Mason was the left side with the darker forehead. And Asher is the right with something that looks like it is coming out of my nose. Mason had written in eyeliner on my lower cheek "I'm cool". Asher wrote on his half "I'm awesome". Now THAT is the best seal of approval I could ever get as a mom. Next part: the shower!

We are half way!

Big game is this week against North Perry. Last year Warren Avenue Knights beat them twice. So they really want their dignity back. And they are also undefeated as are we. Mason is so fun to watch. He never complains and he gives it his all. Makes a Mom proud!

That is his daughter Mia making the balloon like his hair. It was a surprise shin dig that my friend Becki put on for him. What a sweet heart! Happy birthday Steve!!

This weekend we went to Teatro Zinzanni with Steve and Becki. Had a great time. We were front row. Which means you can literally touch the performers. Or in Ivy's case lick them. They serve a 5 course meal while they do the show. They had alot of audience participation. Thankfully I was not picked. Click here for more pictures

Mason's first football game. They played Chico and won. Mason plays defense.  Due to poor planning we had tickets for a show in Seattle so we had to leave.  Thankfully Mason has some good family around to support him.  Tab and Richard stayed for the game and I think Richard even got roped into moving the chains for the game.  Good job Mason.
